We have selected some incredible venues from the highly anticipated Peninsula, London to the further afield Waldorf Astoria Cancun in Mexico. We are seeing these luxury hotels continue to provide exceptional service, exquisite dining experiences all in the most spectacular locations. Each one is unique and offers something truly special and memorable. These incredible hotels will give us joy long after we return from these extraordinary destinations.
Cali Mykonos, Greece
Cali redefines luxury in Mykonos. This Aegean escape is uniquely situated on a private beach in the Kalafati region, nestled between mountains. The boutique resort is made up of 40 villas (each with a private swimming pool), a 110-meter infinity pool, a Mediterranean restaurant, gym & spa, and more. The stunning retreat in the Greek Cyclades offers its guests an idyllic retreat when it opens in the summer of 2022.
The Peninsula, London
The Peninsula, London overlooks Hyde Park Corner and the Wellington Arch, in the heart of Belgravia, is located at one of the city’s most prestigious addresses. The newly built hotel will showcase the best of British culture, art, and cuisine as well as The Peninsula’s peerless hospitality. This elegant venue will include an expansive inner courtyard, a Peninsula Spa, nine retail boutiques for shopping luxury brands, and a grand ballroom that will host London’s most glamorous events. Opening late 2022.
The Fifth Avenue Hotel: New York
This hotel is part of the Leading Hotels of the World group. The Fifth Avenue Hotel creates an oasis of calm midst the frenetic pace of Manhattan. The property mindfully blends personal service, superlative design by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. It promises distinctive cuisine, compelling art and engaging cultural experiences. Every aspect of the 153-room hotel is tailored to delight, engage and reward curiosity.
The Madrid EDITION, Spain
Set in a tranquil square surrounded by historic buildings in the heart of Madrid. It is within walking distance to The Golden Triangle of Art. The hotel will manifest the people and the culture of the city. It will become synonymous as a stunning microcosm of one-of-a-kind food, beverage and entertainment offerings, innovative design, and luxury service. The Madrid EDITION will be the second EDITION Hotel in Spain. Opens early 2022.
Waldorf Astoria Cancun, Mexico
One of the highlights of the 2022 list of hotel openings will no doubt be the new property from Waldorf Astoria, Cancun. The hotel occupies a luxury beachfront oasis on 100 acres of secluded Mayan coastline. Features include oceanfront swim-up suites, five different on-site restaurants and bars, and a signature Waldorf Astoria Spa. Exquisite experiences and unmatched service awaits. Opening the second half of 2022.
100 Princes Street, Edinburgh
100 Princes Street, Edinburgh is part of the family-run Red Carnation Hotel Collection, with a focus on service, with an “anything, anytime” approach offering a 2:1 staff ratio. Sitting in the heart of the city 100 Princes Street will occupy an old department store with views out to Edinburgh Castle. The project will see the building’s historical features carefully restored by the design team behind Ashford Castle. Opening June 2022.
The Homestead, South Africa
The Homestead is located in South Africa’s Nambiti Game Reserve. as an eco-luxury resort. You will be immersed in the wildlife, culture, history, and stunning natural beauty of this magnificent part of Africa. With 12 meticulously designed lodges, each has its own infinity pool, the Homestead will redefine the luxury African safari. The resort will have a world-class spa, fitness facilities and a culinary outlet headed up by chef Kamarl John. Opening early 2022.
